I have been a fan of all things sweet since I was a nipper and consider myself to be a bit of a connoisseur of confectionery and many friends and members of my family over the years have suggested that I should have my own sweet shop and maybe one day I will.

One of my particular favourites is of course fudge and I have tried many kinds but while on honeymoon in September I bought some of your gorgeously crumbly Clotted Cream Fudge from the shop at Powderham Castle and I just wanted you to know that it is easily the best I have had in my 48 years on this planet.

In fact in my humble opinion it is the perfect fudge.

I wish I could give you some kind of award.

Suffice to say if I ever do get my sweet shop you'll be the first person I try and order stock from.

For now though I'll just keep dropping hints to my lovely new wife and maybe I'll get some more for Christmas!!

I just want to thank you for the sample which arrived today.

We have both tasted it and we're extremely impressed. This fudge is just like the fabulous cinder fudge my mum tracked down years ago and which is not now available. In fact yours is probably even nicer. We can't fault it, it's so yummy.

As my mother and I are both strictly of the organic persuasion, the other good thing is this is so ethical.

We are certainly going to order and sing your praises as well. We are simply deciding on choice and box size for a Christmas treat.

I must say one last thing. I am in business myself and I give what I hope is excellent customer service. I feel it's so important. It's lovely to have encountered someone who also goes out of their way to be helpful and pleasant.
